How To Make Your Own Countdowns
A lot of people have been asking us lately, "Can we make our own countdowns?" The answer is yes and we can help. We're excited to be able to offer you a clock that you can use to make your own countdowns. Now you can use your own Announcement Slides or video or whatever for a countdown. All you need is a little technical know-how and our clock. Check out this video tutorial on how to use our clock and what you'll need to know before you do. Storme and Lee,
Excellent! The clock works well, and it is already adding flavor to our themed sermon series. I also appreciated your workshop at the Conference in Austin, it was very well done.
Thanks again. :)

Brilliant. Glad to see you're listening to your "constituency."
Also, can you make a countdown appear on a pastor should he just be getting to Point Two at 50 minutes into his sermon?
I'll take your idea for the "Pastor Your Out of Time Countdown" to our R&D guys and see what they can come up with. We aim to please!
Storme.. We haven't gotten Blake's request a few times as well... I think you could do a 30 min, 45 and 1 hour... just don't know how large of a file that would make...
thanks
Hey I think this is awesome but what kind of program can I use on a PC that is not to expensive. I am not sure what programs out there will do what is taught here in the tutorial.
Sorry for the late reply, English Guy. We've been busy in production. Check out the Thanksgiving video we just posted on our Sermon Illustrations tab. It's really funny. But I digress, majorly.
You can use any professional editing program. The effect you want is a "composite" effect. So you have to make sure the program can do compositing. Final Cut Pro can for sure, that's what we use. After Effects would work. Anyone else have experience with other programs you can recommend?
Adobe Premiere Pro works well on PC's and probably Premiere Elements would work. I have made my own countdowns using Premiere Pro and using the green alpha channel.
Pinnacle Studio does this effect very well and is much much easier than final cut and is only like $70
